The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 34-point-36 points, or one-point-18 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-954-point-89.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 14-point-86 points, or one-point-52 percent, to close at 995-point-16.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened zero-point-five won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-201-point-five won.
