The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 28-point-17 points, or zero-point-95 percent, on Monday, closing the day at two-thousand-926-point-72.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 14-point-78 points, or one-point-49 percent, to close at 980-point-38.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-four won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-199-point-one won.
